Workshops

Seasonal Sun Salutations Practice

Practicing 108 sun salutations is an age-old yoga practice to honor special occasions, especially the changing of seasons.

 

In 2020, we’ll hold these practices starting at 3pm on a Saturday near each Equinox and Solstice to welcome the change of seasons.

 

Join us for any or all of them. You move with your breath and rest as you need to. The magic is in the journey, not the destination.

2020 Practice Dates:
Spring Equinox – Saturday March 21st

Nourish Your Bones

A Yoga, Cooking, and Nutrition Virtual Retreat!

in the comfort of your own home via Zoom (but there are plenty of breaks so we aren’t zooming all day!)

I’m teaming up with my friend and nutritionist-extraordinaire, Mary Sheila Gonnella (the only MSG that is good for your health :-))

 

We’ll begin the day with a yoga class designed specifically to benefit your bones. Learn safe and supportive techniques for building strong bones with yoga.

 

We’ll be cooking together in real time. You’ll learn new delicious recipes and preparation techniques that will keep your food nutrient dense and bone protective.

 

We’ll end the day by diving into the science of what your bones really need, which is more than just calcium, and give you the foundation to nourish your bones with confidence.

 

Come away with renewed inspiration, clarity, and confidence.

A 6 Week Course for Better, Stronger Bones

Starting September 8th.

 

This course is for those who understand that aging, stress and hormonal changes affect the bones, but want to understand what they can do and how to support those systems for optimal bone health, and optimal aging.

 

Maintaining strong bones is more than a lack of dietary calcium. It is a combination of hormones, internal signaling, and nutrients that work synergistically to create a strong foundation for your bones. Bone health is a window into our overall health.

 

The 5 Pillars of Bone Health will give you the tools and support to take action and address your health goals with a whole body approach.

Private Sessions

What is it that you see for yourself and yet you can’t quite reach by yourself?

 

You are the expert on your life. Sometimes you just need to work one-on-one with a dedicated ally to help you recalibrate your well-being and reach your goals.

 

Private sessions are available to those of you who are interested in receiving one on one assistance in your yoga practice or in reaching specific wellness goals.

 

Private yoga instruction provides individually tailored attention to:
    • deepen your existing yoga practice or develop your home practice
    • work on a specific health goal, like, recovering from an injury or practicing yoga for stress relief and better sleep
    • establish a foundation of understanding as a beginner to yoga before you attend public classes

 

One on one nutrition and health coaching helps you to:
    • clarify the vision of your best healthy self
    • take action steps to arrive and thrive there.

 

This is how I view my work with clients – whether in classes, workshops, or one-on-one. I am your ally helping you recalibrate.
