SPRING: 6 Weeks to 108 Sun Salutations

A self-paced, online class to prepare for the 108 Seasonal Sun Salutations Practice
Course Opens February 7th, 2021

The practice of 108 sun salutes requires a certain amount of endurance and time like a marathon, so we need to train our body and mind, building up the physical and mental stamina to do 108 all in one practice.

I’ll be leading the seasonal 108 sun salutation practice for the Spring Equinox on Saturday March 20th.

To prepare for it, I’m offering this 6 week self-paced, online training again.

In these 6 weeks you will learn and practice the sun salutation sequences that I lead during the Seasonal Sun Salutation practices – one sequence a week.

Totally do-able, right?

This course is for you if you’re curious about how to practice sun salutations – even if you don’t want to do the full 108 practice.

This course is also for you if you know how to practice sun salutes but you’re just intimidated by the thought of doing 108.

Whatever your inclination, we’re going to focus on practicing a few sun salute sequences for the next 6 weeks, building up the physical and mental stamina to consider doing 108 all in one practice.

108 Seasonal Sun Salutations Practice

Sun Salutations are an age-old form of practice. Let’s observe the change of seasons with a ritual of practicing 108 sun salutations together.

I create a very accessible variation of this practice as I lead us through 12 sets of 9 sun salutation sequences. You move with your breath and rest as you need to and modifications are encouraged to address your needs.

The magic is in the journey, not the destination.

It’s a transformational form of practice, deeper than just doing asana. Anyone can do it. And yet it is very physical, so you need to prepare for it.
